Healthy, Easy exercise for Seniors & Disabled persons is my favorite area of study & I've always loved the concepts of Qigong, especially the nature components. For the past decade I've used all three main types of Qigong, field recording and forest immersion ecotherapy to manage my aortic dissection and kidney cancer challenges. As a survivor I am hoping to further explore and share my nature audio and forest immersions as they integrate into my learning of Qigong. I am a certified associated Qigong instructor. I am also an acupuncture & TCM student working towards a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree & an active volunteer & qigong teacher with weekly Qigong classes working to share hope and life management techniques for cancer & aortic dissection survivors through support group activity. My undergrad education Bachelor of Science is Biology/Chemistry and I also have a Juris Doctor of Law. My focus is one of bringing together Healing Sounds of Nature, as much Nature I as I can bring into a classroom setting, Traditional Chinese Medicine and even tattoo therapy into Qigong class settings. Physical, emotional and spiritual health should be our goals. Let's move our Qi!
Nature based gentle Qigong for Survivors, Disabled Persons and Senior Citizens.
As a survivor I share nature focused Qigong to those with health challenges and to senior citizens (seated & standing). I am an avid nature field recordist & integrate nature & wildlife/bird song into my Qigong teachings. I love studying the history of nature integration into Traditional Chinese Medicine, and especially into Qigong (ie Animal Frolics & Animal Calls). I've found certain frog calls to be most healing in so many ways. Water and wind sounds too, along with birds and mammal calls are a routine component in my Qigong Teaching
