About

Dr. Siddons has been practicing qigong since 2011. He began teaching in 2015. For the last 6 years he has been working with translators to bring old Chinese texts on qigong and taiji into English.


His educational background includes a B.A. in psychology from Moravian College ('77), a M.Ed. in health education ('84) and a Ed.D. in health education ('98) from Temple University. For 18 years he worked in the field of Drug and Alcohol treatment, intervention, and prevention. Later he worked in the field of health research. He is skilled in both quantitative and qualitative research.


Presently he practices and teaches Hunyuan Taiji and Qigong, the Five Animal Frolics qigong and the 15 Taiji Movements qigong of Master Jiao Guorui. He also teaches the Yi Jin Jing qigong and the 18 Buddha Hands qigong.


From his translation work, he has published a book on Master Jiao Guorui's Five Animal Frolics. A second book on Master Jiao's 15 Taiji Movements Qigong is being prepared for publication.


Teaches Hunyuan Taiji and Qigong; teaches Master Jiao Guorui's Five Animal Frolics Qigong and 15 Taiji Movements Qigong form; teaches Master Hu Yuozhen's Five Animal Frolics Qigong and Neigong Meditations; teaches Yi Jin Jing and 18 Buddha Hands Qigong.

Additional Info

Dr. Siddons for the last 6 years has been working with translators to bring old Chinese texts on Qigong and Taiji into English. This work has yielded the English versions of Master Jiao's Five Animal Frolics Qigong and his 15 Taiji Movements Qigong. It has also yielded English versions of Master Hu Yaozhen's Five Animal Frolics and his Neigong Meditation practices.

Dr. Siddons has published a book on Master Jiao's Five Animal Frolics. A second book on Master Jiao's 15 Taiji Movements Qigong is being prepared for publishing.
