Her approach celebrates your individuality—there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. Jo partners with you to uncover what it means to live your best life and clears the path to make it happen.
Jo brings decades of expertise to her work as a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBCHWC), Certified Cancer Coach, licensed massage therapist, Natural Foods Chef, author, and Qigong and Reiki instructor. She holds specialized certifications in Senior Massage, Canine Massage, and Oncology Massage, offering compassionate care for people navigating cancer, their families, and cancer survivors.
With over 25 years of experience in energy work, Jo’s journey began with Tai Chi and Qigong at the Society of Nanlaoshu in New York. These practices sparked a lifelong passion for energy healing, balance, and well-being. She has since accumulated over 1,500 hours of advanced training with Long White Cloud Qigong, continually deepening her expertise and teaching skills.
Jo combines the calming, restorative benefits of Qigong and Reiki to help clients improve balance, flexibility, and energy, reduce stress, and simply feel good. These practices are accessible to everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. Jo finds immense joy in sharing this knowledge and learning from her students in the process. Private and group classes are available—call or email to discuss your needs!
Jo’s love for service extends to volunteering with her dog, providing pet therapy at places like Moffitt Cancer Center, elderly residences, and college campuses. Together, they bring comfort and joy to people facing life’s challenges.
At home in Tampa, Florida, Jo enjoys life with her husband Zev né Walter, two beloved dogs, Lyla and Lucy Lou, and her fantastic cats, Lua and Lior. Her three adult children—David, Chaim (married to Chaya), and Katya—bring her joy whenever they gather to share meals she loves to cook.
When Jo isn’t working, she practices Qigong, reads, draws, and creates delicious plant-based recipes. Her pescatarian book, From My Table to Yours is available on Amazon.com. Her latest endeavors are writing a plant-based cookbook and launching a wellness B&B retreat and a retirement home for senior dogs.
